Note by the secretariat The annexes to the present note provide further information on the offer by the Government of Indonesia to host the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention (see document UNEP/MC/COP.3/22/Add.1). A note verbale dated 2 September 2019 from the Permanent Mission of Indonesia to the United Nations in Geneva and a letter dated 30 August 2019 from Ms. Retno Marsudi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, regarding the offer, are set out in annex I. Further information regarding the proposed host city and venue for the fourth meeting received by the secretariat from the Permanent Mission of Indonesia is set out in annex II.
