The Minamata Convention secretariat made a presentation at a trainers’ workshop on mercury mass flow development, held in Jakarta from 14 to 16 November 2022.
The secretariat of the Minamata Convention on Mercury made a presentation at a trainers’ workshop on mercury mass flow development, held in Jakarta from 14 to 16 November 2022. This workshop is part of a capacity-building project implemented by UNEP Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, with financial support from Japan.
The secretariat will also support a second workshop on mercury monitoring, to be held in Bangkok from 6 to 8 December 2022. Under this activity, UNEP calls for participation of public or academic mercury-testing laboratories in proficiency testing to evaluate the performance of mercury analysis.
